Records of the Reverend Arthur M. Trengove comprising lantern slides and glass plate negatives. The family hiking day series is most likely to be in the Flinders Ranges in proximity to the Alligator Gorge or Beetaloo Reservoir area. There are also images of the Trengove children, Miss Rosalie and Master Ronald at various stages of age. Trengove has carefully posed many of the images and has made an effort to create interesting scenes for his family subjects, which also include details in the background like landscapes or houses and fences. Contents include the Flinders Ranges and Alligator Gorge area, Horrock's Pass, agricultural and picturesque bush scenery captured while touring, both with horse and cart and later with motor vehicles. Trengrove probably used some of these slides during lectures or presentations, or during church services. It is likely he took a selection of slides with him on his tours, and made presentations to a wide variety of audiences. See CONTENTS for more information and details of the images. Three letters received by Mr Dodd and Miss Dodd advising them of the death on active service at Gallipoli of their son and brother Howard Dodd. They were written in February, March and April 1916 by Louis Nourse, W. Turner and Bugler Jarvis respectively to members of the Dodd family on the death of Howard Dodd at Gallipoli on May 2nd, 1915. Includes full transcripts of all three letters.

Collection of photographs showing the life and conditions of sheep stations that Clement Penfold Smith worked on including Outalpa and Weekeroo near Mannahill, northeast of Peterborough, and Coola, near Mount Gambier. They show the homesteads, gardens, livestock, tanks, and land. Coola Station was 20 miles from Mount Gambier, comprising 13000 acres, and carried 6000 sheep and 1000 Hereford cattle.

Darian Smith, with the remainder strongly attributed to the photographer. On comparison with SLSA images of Hermannsburg and the Aranda (Arrernte/Aranta), it is possible that the location of the images is Alice Springs, Terowie, Finke River and McDonnell Ranges area (see PRG 1559/8/1-295).
