[General description] Renmark's first train has steamed into town. Its locomotive has been decorated by townsfolk who have come to celebrate this gala occcasion. In the foreground a decorative arch across the track can be seen, covered with sheaves of wheat. The large saw toothed roof building facing Renmark Avenue to replace the old Packing Shed on the Riverfront. The railway yard was opened in 1927.
