Summary

[General description] This view shows a street of Renmark, unsealed, with its street trees, utility poles and buildings. There are many cars parked at the kerbside. Over the street is hanging a large sign with the words: 'Thanks for the buggy ride but gee, we like the train'. [On back of photograph] 'Reproduced in the Chronicle Jan. 29, 1927 / Renmark / Jan. 1927 / (Taken on the occasion of the opening of the Renmark- Paringa railway bridge'.
