For view of the building before alterations see B4627. To the left of the Churchill Building stands Farren Price Watchmakers and Jewellers. North of this stands a mens shoe shop. On the northern side of the Churchill Building is AW Dobbie and Company and then comes Fletcher Jones clothing shop. Shoppers, bicycles and a car line the street

[General description] The Grenfell Buildings were erected in 1900 and this corner section was first the office for the Castle Salt Co-operative Company. In 1927 it is now the premises of the Commercial Bank. A flatbed truck turns the corner in front of the building and a pedestrian crosses the road in the foreground.
