[General description] The premises of Walter and Morris are soon to be demolished. Painted on the front of the building is a list of the services provided by the firm: 'All kinds of timber for builders and wheelwrights, and every branch of the trade. galvanised iron ridging, guttering, moulding, turnery, bandsawing. Manufacturers of mantels and overmantels' The rest of the list is obscured by parked cars. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 307 / Grote Street, north side / 7 November 1928 / Walter & Morris' building was demolished in 1928 / Right side of Walter And Morris' building is 50 yards west of Morialta Place.
