[General description] This view shows city street and buildings. The recently upgraded structure on the right has a sign above its door which advertises it 'For sale or to let', the agent being F.W. Bullock and Company. On the left are two pairs of two storey terrace houses, built from stone and featuring verandahs with iron lace. [On back of photograph] 'Acres 259 & 260 / Franklin Street, south side / June 27,1926 / In the foreground is an old corrugated iron building which was encased in a brick shell as shown in the photo. In 1926. / Far side of new structure is 71 yards west of Morphett Street. Frontage: 18 1/2 yards.'
