Summary

[General description] This new building is plain in style and the exterior is cement rendered, probably over brick. A large utility pole is seen on the right. [On back of photograph] 'Acres 248 and 249 / Franklin Street, north side / 15 June, 1927 / The two storey building was completed in 1926, taking the place of a large corrugated iron structure (Penno's sack factory) which was burned down in 1925. / Site of new building: On west corner of Crowther Street. / Franklin Street frontage: 31 yards'.
