She is the daughter of John and Margaret Corbin of Brougham Place, North Adelaide. She later qualified as a solicitor in Adelaide, and later practised in Sydney.

This chart was compiled from Colonel Light's survey with soundings by S. Hamilton, drawn by F.H. Burslem of the Survey Department and engraved by W. Moffitt, Sydney. Shows coast, river with soundings, and Torrens Island. Includes natural features. Although dated 1839, map and detailed navigation notes on right hand edge date this version at 1840. Title of map at bottom right does not have its supporting kangaroos and emu figures as in map 120/2. Scale 2 inches to 1 mile. (On reverse side is printed the 1839 map without the text on left hand edge, another copy of map 120/2 in this series.) [Double sided map; previously C155 & C156].

Also papers relating to her career as a doctor particularly during her time at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Also includes one photograph of a large meteorological free balloon and basket taken in Bitterfeld, Prussia, 11th March 1934, two months before it crashed killing both the meteorologist and the pilot. Also includes a recipe.

Souvenir card of the Camel Corps

Printed souvenir card tied with a ribbon, from the Camel Corps. The front of the card bears the inscription 'Greetings from the Camel Corps' and a flag apparently representing the four separate allied forces that made up the Corps - 3rd Battalion, 1st ANZAC 8th, 3rd ANZAC 8th and 4th ANZAC 8th. Inside is a photograph of four servicemen, each on a camel and representing four nationalities (Australian, English, New Zealanders and Indian); there is a poem and the handwritten inscription 'With kindest regards / from / G.M. Chibnall / Palestine / 20/1/18'. The card was sent to Chibnall's cousin Wanda Tippett (nee Welch).

Papers and photographs relating to the unsuccessful 1963 attempt on the World Land Speed Record by Donald Campbell in the Bluebird-Proteus CN7, at Lake Eyre in South Australia. Includes a letter written by Campbell to 'Bill', a typescript document written by a group of State authorities outlining rules for visitors, and a newspaper clipping showing the location on Lake Eyre. Also contains a number of black and white photographs of Donald Campbell, his support crew, and the Bluebird at Lake Eyre and Muloorina Station.
