Shows route of the party searching for missing explorer Leichhardt along Streletzki (sic) Creek and Barcoo River between 27 and 30 degrees Latitude and 139 to 142 degrees Longitude. Detailed description of natural features given. This map was adapted from the original in the Lands Department, Sydney to accompany Bessie Threadgill's "South Australian land exploration, 1856-1880'. Eighteen black and white prints, (20.5 cm x 15.5 cm) relating to exploration of Koonalda Cave. The cave lies in the Nullarbor Plain about eighty kilometres from the West Australian border. The Koonalda Cave expedition team included Robert Edwards, Dr. A. Gallus, B. Frank, Lesley Maynard, D. Symon and A. Thorne. Students of the Department of Anthropology, University of Sydney acted as assistants. Photographs show evidence of Aboriginal habitation. Also includes twenty four contact prints.

Travel fellowship from the Churchill Memorial Trust - photographic record

The series consists of photographs, transparencies, negatives and proof sheets relating to J.S. Ostoja-Kotkowski's overseas study tour in 1967. The Churchill Memorial Trust granted Ostoja a fellowship which enabled him to visit the U.S.A., Canada, England, Holland, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Japan, India and Hong Kong. It enabled him to visit art galleries, computer laboratories, electronic music laboratories and to attend the Montreal Expo where he had a mural in the Australian pavilion. He met people such as Billy Kluver, Bell Laboratory, Professor Ussachewsky, Princeton University, Ray Bradbury, Sir Hubert Read and Marcel Marceau.

Papers of the Casson family

Digital copies of a compilation of original photographs, letters and memorabilia relating to the Casson family of Pinnaroo, together with research notes relating to the family. The originals were housed in four folders under the heading 'Casson Family History', and include a folder of letters from Private Albert Ross Rowney written to his sister Rose, from his journey to France in 1915 to the last letter before his death in France 1917. Also included is a folder of memorabilia from Grand Master, Brother Rob Casson of the Freemasons. See below for details of contents.

Letters and post cards written by Hermann Fritz Hubbe, (known as Fritz), son of Samuel Grau Hubbe and Edith Hubbe (nee Cook), while travelling to Europe during the First World War and in Egypt and Lemnos. Includes Field Service post cards with generic printed sentences. Also includes letters to H.F. Hubbe and a receipt for a 'sac suit' made for him by Williams Bros. & Co. Hermann Fritz Hubbe died in 1916.
