The entrance to the Jean Mills Hall was erected in 1929. Compare with B 5166. The Jean Mills Hall, opened on 19th August, 1929 was built to commemorate Miss Mills as the matron of the Lady Victoria Buxton Girl's Club. It was opened by Lady Hore-Ruthven. The Hall is situated between rows of other two storey houses along the east side of Whitmore Square.
