Early map of north and south Adelaide giving Town Acre numbers and street names. Details include the location of Government House and barracks on North Terrace and of the Botanic Gardens on the western side of the city between the two roads to Port Adelaide. South west of the city are two roads to Holdfast Bay and in North Adelaide a storehouse and school can be found. The hospital is in the parklands adjacent to East Terrace. Elevation indicated by hachures. Printed in stone and published by J. Thompson and J.H. Hughes, Surveyors, Hobart Town.

Covers the area from Torrens Island to Albert Town, shows sections with owner's names and government and public reserves. Soundings given for the river and tidal information is included. Includes the supposed position of Mr Jas Poole taken from letters by Sturt and Poole (Poole saw ranges in the distance when exploring the Darling River with Sturt). Ranges shown in relief, Frome's tracks indicated by a white line on this negative copy of the original in the Public Record Office, London.

Sections hand hand coloured in green appear to indicate land held by the South Australian Company. The border of the adjoining County of Sturt is shown as a dotted line across Lake Alexandrina from Point Sturt to Pomanda, with Aboriginal place names of points along Younghusband Peninsula. Photographs of Thompson Gap Diapir created in order to interpret geology for map making.

Comprising a composite of aerial photographs created in order to interpret geology for map making at Thompson Gap Diapir, north of Port Augusta in the Flinders Ranges and a negative of the final edit of the published map entitled 'Thompson Gap Diapir' (TJM 1971). Mount describes the photographs as the original interpreted geology overlay photographs of the area. The interpreted geology overlay work in black ink, was the first detailed map of the Thompson Gap Diapir. The documents were created as part of Mount's University of Adelaide Bachelor of Science (Geology) Doctorate thesis, and were later referred to by the South Australian Lands Department. Details include roads, rail and tram lines, rivers and creeks, jetties and baths. Sailing ships and steamers can be seen in the Port River and at sea. Shows development at Port Adelaide and Glenelg, then vegetation between Southwark and Thebarton and the coastline.
