ACRE 203: Guests attending a ball at the Town Hall; they are assembled in the main chamber which is decorated with Chinese lanterns. It is possible that this was an event for the Chinese Commissioner Hwang Hou Cheng held on 20 November 1906, and entertained by Mr. Yett Soo War Way Lee.

Old camp (industrial area) drive-in looking towards Olary Creek. 16mm films were projected at this open air picture theatre, with Lionel Hill, Les Lees, Jerry Manuel and Norm 'the Pommie' Pointer. O'Reilly's sometimes sold fresh milk at the drive-in from their 13 cow dairy herd. Note the screen, seating forms (with fire buckets in winter) and the loudspeaker platform on the side of the screen.
