The series consists of photographic material, notes and newspaper cuttings relating to laser images created at the ANU, CSIRO, the Waite Institute, Flinders University, Quentron Optics Laser Art Laboratory South Australia, the Weapons Research Laboratory South Australia and the Veteran Administration Hospital biofeedback experimental laboratory Sepulveda California; specific images such as 'Space Trapeze' and 'Figures in space'; and many unidentified images created from the 1960s to the 1990s.

Reverend Arthur M. Trengove : SUMMARY RECORD

Records of the Reverend Arthur M. Trengove comprising approximately 1300 lantern slides and glass plate negatives. To a lesser extent there are nitrate negatives and prints. The majority were created in South Australia and document the landscape and his activities as Reverend. Items include images of the following areas; Mid North and Flinders Ranges, Eyre Peninsula (including Cowell, Franklin Harbour, Hissey's Creek, Coonarie Falls, Winnowing, Arno Bay, Port Lincoln), Adelaide Botanic and Zoological Gardens, Port Elliot and Hindmarsh River, Beetaloo Reservoir, Bundaleer, Prince Alfred College, Mount Gambier, River Murray, Mannum and Renmark. Trengove spent time abroad in both New Zealand and during World War 1 in Egypt. Both trips are documented. There are also many family portraits, mainly taken during the mission years in northern South Australia. There are items of interest including a wooden and metal gas lantern slide projector and wooden frames for the slides, used in projection. There is a decorative light projection device with a prism-like light refractor which would have been used for creating patterned and coloured light presentations.

Photograph of a drawing showing a landscape of trees with a river curving in the distance. The intials G. M. S. are on the corner of the drawing. Mary, the wife of George Milner Stephen and daughter of South Australian Governor John Hindmarsh, created several drawings showing early Government House and other scenes in South Australia, and it is thought that this drawing may be one of hers.

A wooden postage box, posted from Oswestry, Salop. England, on the 16th of December 1903, by Mary Fulcher, the second wife of George Fulcher, to Sarah Charlotte Shaw, wife of John Shaw, at Hindmarsh, South Australia. The box originally contained an ambrotype photograph of Sarah Charlotte, daughter of George Fulcher, aged about 8 years, standing with an elderly woman, likely to be her grandmother, the mother of George Fulcher (see PRG 1034/1/1). 15.2 x 20.2 x 2 cm.

73 World War 1 era badges (also known as campaign buttons or 'tinnies') collected by Alan David and Winifred Smith Greenlees, when they were living in Broken Hill. Most badges were designed and created to be purchased as a fundraising interest, in order to raise money for various factions of the Red Cross, and most were manufactured by Alfred E.S. Stokes in Australia 'Manufacturer of Photographic reproduction, coloured Patriotic, Carnival, Campaign Buttons, etc. 228 Pitt Street, Sydney'. Several of this group of items were designed for other charity groups such as the Returned Services League (RSL), the Florence Nightingale Fund, the Army Nurses Day, the Civilian TB & Cancer Fund, the Navy Day, the Wattle League, the Lord Mayor's Japanese Relief Fund and other ventures.
