View of Auburn which is a small town on the edge of the Clare Valley in the mid north of South Australia. The photograph shows a few house and other buildings nestled under gently rolling hills. A church can be seen in the foreground which is possibly the former Wesleyan church built in the Gothic Revival style in 1866. It was constructed from Auburn bluestone and was later used as a Sunday School when the Wesleyans and Methodists merged. It was sold to the Catholic Church at about the time this photograph was taken
