Kitchen in the restored Rumblelow Cottage, Victor Harbor. The Rumbelow family arrived in Port Adelaide in 1854 aboard the "Bomanjee". The family started a long relationship with fishing and the boating life and became one of the chief institutions of Encounter Bay. The Rumbelow family residence in Franklin Parade was called "Yilki".

View of Victor Harbor showing the causeway leading to Granite Island and buildings in the town. The horse drawn railway was extended along the Causeway to Granite Island in the mid 1860s to service large American and European clippers. Bales of wool were paddled down the Murray, freighted to Victor Harbor then shipped to the world.

Train travelling over bridge at Victor Harbor. According to a researcher, the bridge is highly regarded by the Institute of Engineers as it was designed and constructed by Monash's South Australian Reinforced Concrete Co and is still serviceable over one hundred years later.
