[On back of photograph] 'Victor Harbour Tramway & Jetty, 10 December 1867.' An article entitled 'Our southern sea-coast' from the 'Register' of the 11th December, 1867, is attached to the back of the photograph. [General description] The jetty can seen beyond the sand dunes in the foreground and Granite Island appears in the distance. In the centre right a water trough and tying up rail for the use of the tram horses can be seen. There are two ships in the harbour, the 'Flinders' and [possibly] the 'Seashell'.
