Items 108-111 (loose in back of album) are prints from clasical scenes. Attribution for the photographs are as follows: images 1-50, 73 are by Sweet; images 77-79, and possibly 80 are by Charles Bayliss. Overseas scenes (images 81-111) have not been copied.

Collection of silver albumen photographs, most loose, contained in a 'post card album'. Believed to have been taken (or collected in some cases) by F.C. Krichauff, who worked as a photographer in South Australia. The majority of the photographs are of buildings in Adelaide, but also include English and European buildings , believed to have been take during an overseas visit in 1882 - neither have been copied. Wallaroo Town Hall

[General description] Wallaroo Town Hall and War Memorial Arch. The Town Hall was built in 1902 and was gutted by fire in 1917 with only the external walls left standing. It was remodelled under the supervision of Adelaide Architect Mr. Quinton Bruce, and re-opened in late February, 1919, the clock being gifted by Mr. Richard Tonkin. The Memorial Arch in front of the Town Hall was unveiled July 30th, 1924 attended by a crowd of approximately 2000 people.

[General description] View of south eastern Adelaide from the Town Hall Tower. Flinders Street cuts across the lower portion of the view. There is a mix of residential and light industrial buildings intersperced with paddocks, with rural land and hills in the background. Scaffolding in the foreground is attached to the Stow Church which is under construction. The English architect of Stow Church was fond of English wildlife so had a squirrel, carved in stone, at the front of the building. The church on the right is St. Andrews Presbyterian, which opened in 1859 and closed in 1904. On the north side of Wakefield street is the Unitarian Christian Church, completed in 1854, built by the same builder who later built the Town Hall. The Unitarian Church moved to Norwood in the early 1970s and the building on Wakefield street was lost. To the South West of the Unitarian Church, on Wakefield Street, is St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, which survies today. Businesses in the foreground; from extreme right, a cooperage, T. Hills' Cabinet Maker Upholsterer and Undertaker, and G.Gooden, Basketmaker. The two storey building in the centre left is J. Dunn & Co.'s Grain and Flour stores. Soldiers marching in a military parade past a saluting base in front of the Town Hall, Adelaide where Sir Henry Galway, Governor of South Australia takes the salute; two men with collecting boxes are in the foreground. This photo appeared in 'The Observer' newspaper, Saturday 27 April 1918, page 23, along with a description of the parade: 'Returned Soldiers' Building Fund Appeal. The appeal which is being made to the public in behalf of our returned sailors and soldiers for a central home or clubhouse was continued on Saturday afternoon, when a fine programme of sports was contested on the Juibilee Oval. The military authorities lent their hearty co-operation, with the result that one of the finest processions which has been seen in Adelaide for some time was witnessed by thousands of patriotic citizens, who thronged the main thoroughfares of the metropolis.' This particular photo was captioned 'The infantry marching past th saluting base at the Town Hall. His Excellency the Governor (Sir Henry Galway) is seen taking the salute.'
