Historical information

No. 3426 Private Harry Ramage, born in Adelaide, South Australia, worked as a groom before he enlisted with the AIF on 6 February 1917 at the age of 38. He served with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment, 29th Reinforcement, and embarked with his unit from Melbourne on board the HMAT A55 'Kyarra' on 7 September 1917. He returned to Australia on 15 January 1919 and died on 25 August 1941, aged 67.
