Owners A Stephen and Sons, registered Dundee. c.1882 sold to Bremen and renamed Meta Seeger. Noted as being stranded in 1887]. According to a researcher the captain of this ship was Richard H Cary - who came from the fishing village of Mousehole in Cornwall England. He was one of five brothers - all were ships captains who spent time in Australian waters. Richard was the only one of the brothers who did not die at sea.
