Playground closed
Playgrounds were closed by councils during the COVID-19 pandemic to help reduce the spread.

The cafe is normally bustling, but on this occasion, we were the only customers. All the tables and chairs were barricaded, the tables in the courtyard marked with crosses.

My three year old son has missed playgrounds the most. He asks me everyday if they are open yet and whether coronavirus is gone. He asks me to read him every sign on playgrounds.

Restaurant takeaway signage
Restaurants implemented strategies during the pandemic and offered takeaway meals instead and even groceries to the community.

Playgrounds and gym equipment reopen
New signs were placed by the Charles Sturt Council at the gym equipment on the Linear Park path at Underdale. Previously the equipment was 'closed' to the public.
Living on my own means hugging a beautiful tree for pleasure
I regularly walk down the drive that leads to The Waite Arboretum. The beautiful lemon scented gums are always a joy.
