COVID-19 Signage
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, parks, playgrounds and open spaces were closed by councils with signage informing the community. Anzac Day services in 2020 were also cancelled due to restrictions of no large gatherings. Anzac Day commemorations were coducted in the driveways of homes around the nation.
Kind thought & deed
Local chidren gave some thought to people isolated at home perhaps on their own and lonely and created some pet pot plants with names. Passersby appreciated their kind gesture and responded with cards and gifts for the children. Their story with this photograph was mentioned on the RAA web page.

Toilet Roll Window Art Display - The strength is in the tissue
On my daily walk with my dog I noticed this 'window art' display at the height of the toilet roll hoarding pandemic. The subtle correlation between the skeleton, the strength building and rolls of toilet paper suggested to me the title - 'The strength is in the tissue'.
Messages of support - Not stuck at home
Many children drew or painted posters to display outside their house as a message of support and hope for passersby.
