Development of Adelaide 1839-1914: series of lantern slides.
Series of 102 black and white lantern slides numbered 40-145, illustrating the development of Adelaide, 1839-1914. Some slides are of maps, lithographs and sketches made by nineteenth century artists and lithographers. The series juxtaposes views of Adelaide buildings and streets and key landmarks at several time periods, to show the changes and developments in Adelaide to 1914. The streets in focus in this series include King William Street, North Terrace, Stephen's Place, Rundle Street, Hindley Street, Pulteney Street, Grenfell Street, Pirie Street, Gouger Street, Gawler Place and Hindmarsh Square. The following slides are not held: 1-39, 63, 67, 81, 128.

Travel fellowship from the Churchill Memorial Trust - photographic record
The series consists of photographs, transparencies, negatives and proof sheets relating to J.S. Ostoja-Kotkowski's overseas study tour in 1967. The Churchill Memorial Trust granted Ostoja a fellowship which enabled him to visit the U.S.A., Canada, England, Holland, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Japan, India and Hong Kong. It enabled him to visit art galleries, computer laboratories, electronic music laboratories and to attend the Montreal Expo where he had a mural in the Australian pavilion. He met people such as Billy Kluver, Bell Laboratory, Professor Ussachewsky, Princeton University, Ray Bradbury, Sir Hubert Read and Marcel Marceau.

In memorium for the 'Gothenburg' published by 'The Lantern', No. 28, March 13, 1875. The caption reads: In memorium - Gothenburg, wrecked 24th February, 1875'. The artwork has a drawing of the ship in heavy seas, surrounded by portraits of six of those drowned.

Glass lantern slides featuring Aboriginal people and missions
Comprising hand-coloured lantern slides of the Kramer Family Missionary work among Aboriginal people in the centre and northern Australia (also includes a small number of slides from Papua New Guinea), plus the Kramer Family abroad. Lantern slides include Hermannsburg Mission garden, the first church built at Alice Springs, and their first home 'Ebenezer'. Most images are of Arrernte (Aranda) people from Alice Springs and central Australia including Hermannsburg (Ntaria) on the Finke River. There are some images from Mapoon (also known as Marpuna or the Batavia River Mission), Queensland and some images from Groote Eylandt, north eastern Australia, encompassing Angurugu, Alyangula and Umbakumba. Anindilyakwa / Enindhilyagwa / Warnindilyakwa people and including Yolgnu people. Many of the lantern slides have been hand-coloured. The slides were likely to have been used for lectures and/or presentations for Mission circuits and the public. There are a small number of slides taken whilst on family holidays, likely to be in locations overseas, for example Switzerland and Europe. For more details and information see CONTENTS.
