Half plate glass plate negative of two soldiers of the 1st Australian Imperial Force in camp in South Australia prior to embarkation for Egypt, one is identified as Caffrey. Believed to have been photographed at Morphettville Camp. A researcher has suggested that one of the soldiers may be No.3260 Private William Vincent Caffrey, enlisted 20 July 1915 aged 24, served with the 10th Battalion, 11th Reinforcement, embarked from Adelaide on board the HMAT A24 'Benalla' on 27 October 1915, returned to Australia 11 May 1916.
