Mount Gambier Hospital

Originally the Colonial Surgeon's residence, it was later used as offices, nursing home quarters, maternity ward, and administration and pharmacy. It was demolished about 1960. According to a researcher, it was not demolished until the early 1970s.

Christ Church, Mount Gambier
[General description] This church, designed by local architect William Thomas Gore was built of dolomite and features a roof with many gables and an imposing bell tower. The foundation stone for this church was laid on February 21, 1865. Stained glass windows by Melbourne firm Ferguson & Urie were installed in 1867. Globe Hotel, Mount Gambier
Stage Coach pulled up outside the Globe Hotel, Mt. Gambier. In 1885 the hotel was entirely destoyed by fire and was rebuilt as a two storey building. It was also known as the Globe Inn. Walter James Anderson was the licensee from 1893-1903.
