Mount Gambier Hospital
View of the main Hospital building at Mount Gambier, with a number of nurses standing on the steps, and four cars parked nearby. Originally the Colonial Surgeon's residence, it was later used as offices, nursing home quarters, maternity ward, and administration and pharmacy. It was demolished about 1960. According to a researcher, it was not demolished until the early 1970s.

Farmer's Inn, Mount Gambier
Farmer's Inn, Commercial St., Mt. Gambier - later to become Federal Hotel. The hotel was known as the Farmer's Inn from 1856 - 1871, 1875 - 1884, 1894-1914. B Besley was the proprietor in 1860 at the time of this photograph. The photograph shows the single storey building with teams of oxen and horses, men and women outside the hotel

Christ Church, Mount Gambier
[General description] This church, designed by local architect William Thomas Gore was built of dolomite and features a roof with many gables and an imposing bell tower. The foundation stone for this church was laid on February 21, 1865. Stained glass windows by Melbourne firm Ferguson & Urie were installed in 1867.
