Committed suicide at Maldon. Also Ann Fordred, his wife (nee Gardener) died 1877 Maldon. And their only child Emma Fordred born Cape Town South Africa 1853, died Melb 1917'. Identified on verso as 'Cousin Emma, Aunt Fordred & Uncle Fordred (Cousin Emma's Mother and Father)'.
