Hardcover postcard album containing glossy printed copies of lithographic prints depicting various significant buildings and scenes in and around Adelaide. The red hard cover features a relief embossing of a version of the Australian Coat of Arms, and an image of Government House on the front. Handwritten script inside the rear cover reads 'Laddie with love from Auntie Jessie, Adelaide, August /94 [1894]'.

Looking east from rear of Family Hotel in 1868. In the foreground are two storied houses in College Street including Essenside (with the tower). The two storied place on the right is in Moseley Street. On the extreme left can be seen the original Congregational Church/Congregational Hall. "The Olives" and Mr O'Halloran Giles home show up in the right centre, while in the distance is Partridge Street and the new fine residential area of Helmsdale. This photograph was reproduced in the Observer March 10, 1928.

Patawalonga Creek between Military Road Bridge and sea. The bridge can be seen in the distance in the centre of the photograph. In 1899 a call was made for a fixed bridge to be built across the Patawalonga. All rate payers were invited to vote on the matter.
