SANFL first round of the 2020 season at Adelaide Oval

The first round of the 2020 South Australian National Football League (SANFL) season, originally scheduled to start in April, was postponed until the weekend of the 27th and 28th of June, 2020. Two games were played on each day. On Saturday the 27th Sturt defeated Central District and South defeated the Eagles. On Sunday 28th, North beat West and Glenelg defeated Norwood. Tickets were limited to 5,000 and were only available via a ballot and had to be shown in electronic form ie no paper tickets. Supporters had to remain seated and also two seats apart. The Port Adelaide and Adelaide Crows SANFL teams did not compete in the 2020 SANFL season due to direction of the AFL (Australian Football League).
