Letters written by Leonard John (Len) Harvey to his family in Moonta. Letters are sent from London and Blackpool while on leave, from "France", from the trenches and billetts. Topics include speculation about Billy Hughes' future in light of the conscription referendum loss, South Australian politics including his father's activities as Minister of Education, rationing in England and comments about the war including a comment about John Monash. Letters written later in the year talk about repatriation. Out of chronological sequence is a letter which had a strip of canvas attached. The letter claims that the canvas is from the plane of the Red Baron.

Material collected during the historic American-Australian Scientific Expedition to Arnhem Land (AASEAL), Northern Territory. Papers include multiple field notes, diaries, correspondence, accounts, original artworks, maps and documentary photographs including additional text with descriptions, meanings and diagrams, newspaper articles, typescript records of Aboriginal songs, sound recordings and other sundries. Also contains a journal relating to the complementary expedition to western Arnhem Land the following year. See below for further details.

Comprising a composite of aerial photographs created in order to interpret geology for map making at Thompson Gap Diapir, north of Port Augusta in the Flinders Ranges and a negative of the final edit of the published map entitled 'Thompson Gap Diapir' (TJM 1971). Mount describes the photographs as the original interpreted geology overlay photographs of the area. The interpreted geology overlay work in black ink, was the first detailed map of the Thompson Gap Diapir. The documents were created as part of Mount's University of Adelaide Bachelor of Science (Geology) Doctorate thesis, and were later referred to by the South Australian Lands Department. Items and papers commemorating the 1986 Jubilee re-enactment of the first England-Australia flight

Items and papers relating to the 1986 re-enactment of the first England to Australia flight by Ross and Keith Smith, with mechanics James Bennett and Walter Shiers, comprising: placemat with illustrations; wine glasses with decorative etching; Re-enactment Flight program; newsletter clipping; and correspondence. The re-enactment of the landing of Sir Ross Smith and Sir Keith Smith was organised by John Furlong on behalf of the Enfield Lions Club, and was held on Sunday 23 March 1986 at Northfield, Fosters Road. The event featured illustrated talks, a film of the building of a Vickers Vimy Bomber in 1969 for the 50th anniversary of the flight, mail drops from a Tiger Moth aircraft, memoriabilia displays, speeches and prizes, music and amusement rides, and the arrival of the replica Vickers Vimy, and was attended by Premier John Bannon and his wife. The Re-enactment Flight was part of Jubilee 150, the 150th anniversary of European settlement in South Australia, celebrated in 1986. See below for details.

Aerial view of the Sleep's Hill Viaduct in the Adelaide Hills. Viaducts for the railway lines in the Adelaide Hills crossed two steep gullies and were manufactured by an American company. The viaducts were dismantled in June 1920. They were located between Lynton and Eden Hills in the Adelaide Hills.
