[General description] Four children are posing in front of the door of the new Freeman Ltd. Joinery Works building. The brick building has a classic saw-tooth roof profile often used in factories. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 471 / North end of Arthur Court / April 18, 1926 / Freeman's premises were erected in 1925 on a vacant site. The southern front of the building is shown here in part. It measures 53 yards and is 76 yards north of Sturt Street.'

Frankis had a practice in this locality in the mid-late 1800s, perhaps he owned this property at the time. There are Adelaide City Council roadworks in progress in front of the building.
