Mill at Encounter Bay, Victor Harbor.Remains of the Old Mill at Encounter Bay, Victor Harbor. It is a two storey round brick structure in an isolated place. The mill was built in 1844 of limestone by farmer Peter Helmore. William Hunt was the first miller. It was damaged in a sorm in 1853.

Wedding of Mavis Connell and Hayward Milton
The wedding of Mavis Connell (second from right), daughter of the owners of Mount Breckan, William Frederick ('Fred') and Augusta Elizabeth Adelaide Connell nee Techritz, and Hayward Milton (right), son of William Compton Milton and Jane Ann nee Mitchell, on the steps of 'Mount Breckan'. Hayward was a surveyor, Mavis was the daughter of who can be seen standing in the centre back. Mr Connell has a white moustache.
