A 1928 Model one and a half ton truck owned by Graham Brothers. According to a researcher, the brand of the truck is Graham Brothers. Graham Brothers trucks were built from the early 1920s through to 1928, using Dodge machinery. By 1929 the trucks were badged with the Dodge emblem. It is possible the truck was owned by J.R. Ferguson, as inscribed on the vehicle.

A heavily loaded truck driving over a sandy ridge, watched by a man. Believed to be the Leyland Badger mail truck driven by legendary truck driver/mailman Tom Kruse, the truck now rests in the Birdwood Museum after restoration and a re-enactment trip on the Birdsville Track.

According to a researcher, the registration of this truck is AIF (vertically aligned) Australian Imperial Forces L1426 (L, signifying Lorry).

Two trucks, one belonging to H.E. Ding of Yunta, parked outside an outback building. Additional information supplied by a researcher. This photo may be taken outside the Carrieton butcher shop. Ford jailbar-grille truck at front is c1940. The twin-cab 'trailer' is a modified c1933 International bullnose truck as used by Hurtle Ackland on the Hawker-Carrieton mail run at that time. Fred Teague who worked for Ding's later had the 'twin-cab' on the Hawker- Carrieton mail run.

One of a series of 38 photographs taken during a trip along the Birdsville Track in 1939, this image shows a partially loaded truck, a Diamond T, wading across flats near Seven Mile Bore. The wooden poles used to to extract the truck from bogs can be seen in their spot sticking out from under the tray. A number of people are riding on the load on the tray of the truck.
