Armistice Day ceremony in the Soldiers' Memorial Garden, on Saturday 11 November 1922. The Union Jack was lowered to half mast, Trumpeter-Sergeant A.T.H. Neale sounded the Last Post, followed by two minutes of silence, the raising of the flag and The Reveille. The Mayor of Unley, Mr. H.C. Richards M.P., was in charge of the proceedings. A wreath of white roses made by the chief gardener was hung on the flag mast.

Given by the South Australian Division of the Wireless Institute of Australia in the Royal Institution for the Blind hall, North Adelaide, on Thursday 28 June 1923, the dance music was broadcast from the private wireless station at the home of Mr. Henry Lashbrooke Austin, electrician, of 8 The Parade, Norwood.

J.N. Boberg 'Around Australia' motor cyclist

J. N. Boberg of New South Wales arrived in Adelaide on 2 January 1923 having completed the first stage of a journey around Australia on a Dunlop tyred Indian Scout motorcycle. He had left Sydney on 9 December 1922 and was intending to ride to Perth via Port Augusta. The attempt came to an end in April 1923 when some distance beyond Onslow, Western Australia, Boberg ran into a telegraph pole. Advertisements on the sidecar include three for Goulding sidecars, Dunlop tyres, and Castrol oil.
