Crowds of people standing in King William Street, where electric trams are at a standstill, and on the rooftops and verandahs of nearby buildings where flags are flying in celebration of an unidentified event; many of the spectators are looking skyward, possibly for the arrival of Sir Keith and Ross Smith after their historic flight from England in March, 1920.
