A railway bridge crossing Onkaparinga River at Old Noarlunga; the approaches are across a treeless area. As of 2015 the bridge is used by cyclists and pedestrians and is part of the Coast to Vines Rail Trail. South Australian Railways take part in the parade down King William Road during the Jubilee Parade on 9th May 1951 in Adelaide. The state's first railway coach is mounted on a trailer with a sign that states "The first rail track was laid in South Australia in the year 1854 linking Goolwa with Port Elliot."

The house was built before the railway line was constructed. The train would have been coming from Mount Lofty Station and this photograph was taken looking down the train line towards Number 8 tunnel and the Upper Sturt Railway Station situated just around the curve.
