Summary

View from Mount Lofty Station. Adelaide and Melbourne Railway. A researcher has provided the following information: The view is of the Petersen house known as 'Stordarlyn'. The house was built before the railway line was constructed. The train would have been coming from Mount Lofty Station and this photograph was taken looking down the train line towards Number 8 tunnel and the Upper Sturt Railway Station situated just around the curve.
