Owners R&J Craig, registered Glasgow c.1894 sold to Port Adelaide and eventually to JA Walker. By this time rigged down to a barque. Sold in July 1901 to Messrs. Folder, Barker and Ward and Captain William Tulloch and registered at Hobart. Wrecked 23 October 1905 on Danger Reef, Otago NZ. General work before sale to Australia, usually in the coal trade when owned in Port Adelaide, and used for the transport of Tasmanian timbers until wrecked, after sale to Hobart.]

'Abraham Rydberg' at Wallaroo, 1938 [steel 4 mast barque, 2097 tons. 270.0 x 43.1 x 23.6. Built 1892 (2) C Connell and Co. Glasgow for A Nelson, registered Honolulu, sold 1910 and renamed 'Star of Greenland' by Alaska Packers Association, sold 1929 and renamed 'Abraham Rydberg' and converted into sail training ship and as such shown in Lloyds; 2179 tons, owners: Rederi A. and Sunnan B, registered Stockholm. During WW2 became the Portugese 'Foz Do Douro' and engaged in Red Cross work and was converted to an auxiliary twin screw motor ship. Masts reduced after the war and made a full powered ship. Laid up at Lisbon in 1953. Ref. 5 (Vol. 2) mentions sale price in 1910, and speed. Ref. 8 considerable attention under the name of 'Abraham Rydberg' SB. Built 1912 Philip B Forbes, Lake Macquarie, NSW and registered at Port Adelaide in 1923, having formerly been owned in Melbourne. Lengthened and renamed 'Leprena' in May 1938 = 105 gross, 85 net tons. 92.8 x 22.8 x 6.6. Requisitioned by Commonwealth Government during WW2 but returned to commerical service in 1946. Ultimately became a fishing vessel and was destroyed by fire off Port Moorowie, SA Feb. 12, 1964. About the turn of the century sold to Scandinavia and drops from the register c.1909. Lubbock claims the vessel was built as a China Clipper but was too late for the trade. She spent most of her life in the England-Australia trade, and when enrolled at Hobart was a regular trader to England]

Ltd. 1902 William Cook, Lyttelton. 1917 HL Tapley (later Tapley Shipping Line) registered Dunedin after 1927. Gausted, McDonnell and Co. Waitara. 1931 CNB Mardon, Auckland, registered Suva. Suva register closed March 1932 on sale to Chinese subjects. Register transferred to Callao.
