There is some mention of this vessel in Wrecks in Tasmanian Waters by Harry O'May (not a particularly reliable source) that says she was hulked in 1884 and scuttled alongside the slip and used as a store]

Paddle steamer 'Ruby'

The paddle steamer 'Ruby', built in 1907 and currently [ca.1976] based in Wentworth at the Renmark wharf. The structure at the top of the wharf is a building which housed the shipping agents. It replaced a collection of cubicles which had served the same purpose. This photo is part of the Sheahan Collection which consists of 114 views depicting river craft and two steam boat captains, bridges, and locks on the Murray River in South Australia.
