Sid Hains in front of the homestead garden at Outalpa, near Mannahill. The front garden of the homestead was terraced. The grounds also contained the cook's quarters, laundry, milk seperator, a side garden, gated wood heap, three car garage which was specially elongated to park the nose of the three tonne truck. Pepper trees and pines surrounded the homestead.
