Map of the country explored by Stephen Hack and party north of Streaky Bay in 1857 for the S.A. Government, with exploration routes shown extending east to the southern section of Lake Gairdner and nearly as far as Lake Gilles. The map includes part of the coast line of Eyre Peninsula from Streaky Bay to Venus Bay, and 17 different areas (lots 4-20) coloured dark brown (obscuring any printed information within), showing the extent of pastoral runs. These are summarised in a table within the map area. Map by W.G. Harris, surveyor to the expedition.
