Empty Central Market Food Court
Photo taken in February during the early days of the Corona Virus, pre-lockdown/isolation/social distancing rules. First casualty was Chinatown and Adelaide Central Market. People stopped going there to shop or eat. It was just so sad to see this.

Easter Long weekend and travel restrictions in place due to Covid-19 so my wife Bev and dog Alfie did a mock bike trip to our backyard and set up our camp for the weekend. Great fuel economy and no traffic issues.

Closure of SportF1rst (also known as Be A Sport) at Northpark Shopping Centre, Prospect

SportF1rst decided to close as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. SportF1rst were a sponsor of Enfield Tennis Club (and probably other sporting clubs in the inner-northern suburbs).

We Hope You're Going Ok
We wanted to say/do something to connect with neighbours and passersby while isolating at home. I run a children's art playgroup where art materials are used as a vehicle for children to play, express themselves and explore their world. We used the same ideas at home to make our sign, building up one layer at a time. We used pencils, textas, permanent markers, oil pastels, watercolour paints and tempera paint. It was both a fun/chill out activity for us as a family (2 yr old, 6 yr old and mum and dad) and also a way to feel like we were contributing something to our community and having some control amidst all the uncertainty. Photos by Charlotte Frost and Josh Moyle.
