Summary

Regatta Day on Lake Torrens. On Saturday December 17, 1910 the first Henley-on-Torens Regatta was held. The Adelaide Rowing Club hosted this event of decorated boats and feats of rowing skill. The regatta immediately became one of the most popular events on the Adelaide calendar. Months of preparation preceded the event
