Summary

Streaky Bay jetty was constructed between 1891 and 1896 and is a reminder of the town's importance as a port for both transportation of wheat from the hinterland and fishing in the bay. The photograph shows WH Betts General Store in the foreground and the jetty in the background. A sailing ship and a steam ship are moored at the end of the jetty
