Presbyterian Church
Presbyterian Church at Woodville. The Woodville Wesleyan Mission was organised in 1876 as part of the Port Adelaide Circuit. Local landowner Captain Henry Simpson donated a portion of his land on Woodville Road so that a church could be built. In 1883 the original iron church was replaced by one built of stone. The foundation stone was laid by Mrs W Crocks in 1883. The church was enlarged in 1903 and included transepts, vestries and could seat 500
