[General description] Cabs wait outside of the old Railway Station building whilst pedestrians cross the road amongst other horse drawn vehicles including a wagon laden with bales and a tram. There is a cyclist in the foreground. On the extreme right is the new House of Assembly, completed in 1889. Next to it is the old Parliament House in which the Legislative Council remained. [On back of photograph] 'North Terrace west. North side / Adelaide Railway Station. / About 1898 / Extreme left is opposite the east side of Blyth Street. Far side of two storey portion of station is 43 yards west of Blyth Street.'

Stone structures, West Parklands
Group of stone sculptural structures along Sir Donald Bradman Drive in the West Parklands, Adelaide. Called 'Lie of the Land', they are part of the Western Gateway Public Art Project, with 25 structures of Kanmantoo slate set in compacted granitised sand with plantings of native trees and kangaroo grass. Designed by Aleks Danko and Jude Walton and erected in 2004, they are based on a drawing by Eugene von Guerard in the Art Gallery of South Australia which showed indigenous Australians camped in the parklands when Adelaide was settled.

Duryea's Adelaide Album 3
An album compiled by Adelaide photographer, Townsend Duryea, with the title 'Duryea's Adelaide Album' embossed on the front cover. The first 'page' is a panorama of Adelaide, comprising five roughly uniform panels, mounted on linen to form a continuous image 12.5 x 89.5 mm (the linen measures 248 x 940 mm, and folds into three equal sections to fit into the album). The other photographs in the album show Rundles, Hindley and Wakefield Streets, North Terrace and the Botanic Gardens. Inside the front cover is a small photographic portrait of a man, believed to be Duryea.
