Studio portrait of three West Adelaide Football Club players, identified as the '1908 West Adelaide and SA state centre line'. John James McCarthy (left standing) Henry Richard "Dick" Head (seated) Albert "Alby" Hermann Klose (standing right). All three played in West Adelaide's 1908 and 1909 Premiership teams. Dick Head also won the 1909 Magarey medal. Klose later joined North Adelaide as a player (1911-15) and was their first official coach when they won the 1920 Premiership.

Comprising 16 pairs of photographs. The former scenes in black and white were created by photographer Francis Gabriel in the early 20th Century and are in the collection of the State Library Archive. The later colour items were recently created with a drone camera by aerial photographer Denis Parslow. Parslow intended to create a comparative match between his current North Adelaide scenes and Francis Gabriel's photographs.

Adelaide Boys High School, west side of West Terrace, 31st December 1952. For a view of the Observatory that formerly occupied this site see B9430. Adelaide High School came about due to the amalgamation of Advanced School for Girls and the Adelaide Continuation School in 1908. It was the first secondary school in the Commonwealth of Australia. The present site was erected on West Terrace between 1947-1951. This became the Adelaide Boys High School while the Adelaide Girls High School remained in Grote Street
