Crown and Anchor Hotel, Grenfell Street, north side, march 10th 1930, Union Street frontage is 19 yards and Grenfell Street frontage is 20 yards. For a view of the hotel taken in 1952 see B 12476. The proprietor at the time of the photograph was Mrs Susan Owens. Although a horse and carriage is parked outside the Crown and Anchor Hotel, cars can be seen parked along Union Street.

Barry; I. Diciter (?); M. Watson; F. Killmier; M. Nation; T. Challew; A. Black. Florence May Killmier also had a distinguished career in rowing and later became President of the S.A. Womens' Rowing Association.

Trade union banner produced for the South Australian Society of Coachmakers circa 1886, constructed of two layers of painted silk taffeta with an internal lining of linen. (The Union was formed in 1883.) Also (D 8824/2) 3.87m timber support pole with ornamental ends. Ends have faded gold paint with red and blue band painted around narrowest points.

South Australian Farmer's Union, Murray Bridge. Cream was transported to to the Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend factories by motor launches on the river. Whole milk was transported from local farms for the production of cheese. The company operated four boats to pick up milk and passengers from landings from Mannum to Wellington.
