[General description] New buildings along Union Street with Rundle Street seen in the distance. The nearest parked car has a 'dickie seat'. [On back of photograph] 'Acres 97 and 90 / Union Street, west side / April 8th 1939 / The central group of buildings (those with the three arched entrances) was erected in 1938 / The near side of the central group of buildings is 35.5 yards north of Grenfell Street / Frontage is 68 yards'.
