Five foundation members of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Glen Osmond. The man seated in the middle is likely to be Mr. Alfred Leane who was the Secretary of the Order for many years in South Australia and deeply involved in establishment and reform of community based financial services. Leane also campaigned to allow women access to these services, with a particular focus on the working classes. He was eventually elected Grand Treasurer of the Grand Lodge of Australasia in 1893, and died in 1925.
