The Bullock Road Race, a 16 mile race conducted by the League of South Australian Wheelmen, was held in 1922 on Saturday 22 July. The race started and finished at the Glynde Hotel, Hectorville, where a large crowd gathered to watch. Frank Mariner won the race with a time of 52 minutes and 25 seconds, with second prize going to S. Riley, and Goodwood junior cyclist J.J.
