Summary

Sir George Brookman, businessman and politician, standing on a podium, addressing spectators at an outdoor dedication function at the Walkerville Recreation Ground, South Australia for the opening of a children's playground, 17 June 1922 (reported in the 'Advertiser' 19 June). Also present are Lady Brookman, Adelaide City Councillor, Mrs C.R.J. Glover, Walkerville Councillors Pedler and Colquhoun, District Clerk Mr T.R. Nottage, and playground contractor Mr Kelly.
